Youth who have just completed grades 4th-8th are invited to attend our overnight Four Rivers 4-H Camp! Camp is held at the beautiful 4-H Center in the foothills of West Salem on 320 acres with rustic and comfortable lodging. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as, swimming, archery, adventure swing, canoeing, crafts, skits, theme-based activities and more! Camp is open to all Oregon youth which includes both 4-Hers and non-4-Hers. The cost to attend camp is $295.00 which includes lodging, meals, activities and a camp T-shirt.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We believe that all youth should be enriched by a camp experience. If you would like more information regarding camp scholarships or would like to apply for financial assistance please contact your local extension office prior to registering online. The amount of the scholarship assistance available may depend on donations received. Scholarship assistance MUST BE REQUESTED PRIOR TO REGISTERING ONLINE. Discount codes will be provided to those who qualify.
Camp registration is first come, first serve. Registration ends May 29, 2020 or whenever it reaches capacity, whichever comes first. Camp fills up quickly, so don't wait to register!

4-H Camp Counselor
9th-12th grade youth can apply annually to be a Camp Counselor. Counselors gain invaluable job experience, learn about leadership and responsibility. 4-H Camp is held in : TBD . Applications are due in : TBD . Selected counselors and alternates must also attend counselor training weekend at the Oregon 4-H Center. This opportunity is open to all youth regardless of their affiliation with 4-H. There are also positions for Junior Staff (college age students or older who work at camp and support counselors).

Counselor-in-training (CIT)
The CIT program is designed for youth who are interested in becoming camp counselors. This program will concentrate on leadership training, camp counselor skills and will include opportunities to work with younger campers while being supervised by staff. In addition, there will still be plenty of time to enjoy all that camp has to offer. Eligible youth will need to be in 8th- 9th grade during current school year. Interested youth can apply to be a CIT, using the online registration system or emailing the extension office. Applicants will need to pay the camp fee of : TBD $. Once registration is complete, camp staff will contact and interview applicants prior to selection. This is a competitive process as there are only a few CIT spots available and will close once registration fills up.
