Education & School Gardens

Farm to School education provides students with educational activities related to agriculture, food, nutrition, and/or health. These activities can take place in a variety of learning environments, including gardens, classrooms, or field trips, and can occur in school, after-school, or early childhood settings.

School gardens offer students opportunities to engage in hands-on learning specifically in garden-based settings, such as outdoor gardens, hydroponic classroom gardens, or greenhouse gardens.
