Record books

Keeping records is a crucial piece of being a 4-H member. It also instills excellent record keeping skills for your future careers and hobbies. In Crook County, youth who wish to participate in 4-H at the county fair must complete a record book and turn it in for judging. Record books are due to the Extension Office by 5:00 pm on the last Friday in July. Members must receive a white ribbon or above on their record book in order to participate at the Crook County Fair.

This year, Record Book Check In's will be optional and will be held on: June 4, 10 & 18 2024

Record book check-in is are an optional opportunity, record book judging is required for fair participation.

Record book covers and tabs are available for purchase at the Extension Office for $3.

Important Record Book Dates 2023-2024

February 22- Record book training for 4-H Leaders

May 21- Record book training for 4-H members and family

June 4, 10 & 18 - Optional record book check in's

July 26- Record books due by 5:00 pm for judging
