The OSU Extension Service in Crook County has provided research-based, informal education programs since 1914. This is done through coordinating educational tours, conferences, workshops and demonstrations. We also provide brochures, publications, and research-based information on a variety of subjects both in the office, over the phone, in the field, and on-line.
Extension faculty and staff based in Crook County lead in 4-H & Youth Development, Supplemental Nutrition Assistant (SNAP) Education, Livestock, and Crop Production. Regional faculty and staff serve Crook County with programs in Master Gardeners & Home Horticulture, Family and Community Health, Open Campus/Juntos, Forestry, Wildfire, and Plant Pathology.
