The Online Land Steward Course is offered in varying formats, can be taken from any location and is not offered on a set schedule. Offerings are based on regional instructor availability. Instructor-Led Online Course
Designed for busy adults who enjoy online learning. Do you want to create goals for your land and learn steps to achieve them? The online Land Steward course from OSU Extension combines self-paced online modules with instructor-led virtual classes. The course includes:
- Nine self-paced online lessons (one new lesson each week)
- Live virtual classes or meetings, featuring resource experts and mentors
- Participants assess their resources and create a stewardship plan
Hybrid Field/Online Instructor-Led Course
Interested in field-based experiences? The hybrid Land Steward course from OSU Extension combines online lessons with in-person class and field days to introduce land owners to the concepts of the Land Steward Training. The course includes:
- An introductory class
- Nine online lessons (one new lesson each week)
- Two field days with resource experts, showcasing the lesson topics
- Participants assess their resources and create a stewardship plan
- (Some offerings include weekly mentor zoom check-in meetings)
