Fairs and Shows

Umatilla County is host to two different opportunities for 4-H members to exhibit their projects. Milton-Freewater Jr. Show is held each year in May with both static and livestock projects exhibited. Umatilla County Fair happens each August in Hermiston with the full week long fair experience and all project areas exhibiting.

Umatilla County 4-H Pre-Fair Contests

New in 2024! Umatilla County 4-H will host a Pre-Fair event for live communications and FCS contests. Other contests that take place in July prior to the county fair are the Dog Show, Horse Show, and Shooting Sports Contests. The Pre-Fair Contest Guide has all the guidelines and class information for these events.

Milton-Freewater Jr. Show - May 9-12, 2024 (in English)
