Welcome to Harney County!

The Harney County 4-H Youth Development Program is an outreach program of the Oregon State University Extension Service. By participating in a variety of programs, clubs, projects and hands-on activities, youth in 4-H grow and thrive developing their full potential to make a positive impact on the world around them.

Youth have the opportunity to find what truly sparks their interest. Partnering with caring adults and volunteers, a quality learning program is built around their “spark” giving youth the opportunity to work on the four guiding values of 4-H: Head, Heart, Hands and Health. This journey promotes growth and builds leadership, citizenship, and valuable lifelong skills.

The 4-H Pledge

I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
