4-H Cloverbud

The 4-H Cloverbud project is designed for youth ages 5-8 (based on their age as of September 1st) and emphasizes hands-on participation, learning, and teamwork, not competition. Our goal is to promote children’s positive development through cooperative learning and developmentally appropriate activities. In Josephine County, Cloverbuds can be a project within a community club or a stand-alone club. Our Explorers 4-H Club is for Cloverbuds only and it meets once a month.

The 4-H Cloverbud project provides youth with opportunities to:

  • Have fun, develop friendships and learn about their world all the while promoting social, mental, emotional, and physical development.
  • Engages in cooperative learning in areas such as healthy lifestyles, expressive arts, plants and animals, science and technology, and personal development.
  • Brings members, parents, and volunteers together to have fun and learn to work together in meetings, activities, and special events.
  • Participate in non-competitive, short-term learning experience over the course of a given year

4-H Cloverbud Events and Opportunities:

  • Club monthly meeting every fourth Wednesday of the month
