All youth ages 5 to 19 are welcome to join and learn with 4-H. 4‑H clubs follow planned, self-directed programs in a number of project areas, including animal science, STEM, communication, cooking, art, gardening, and environmental science. Clubs may meet in a variety of locations and typically meet in the evenings and on the weekends.

Enrollment resources

4-H enrollments will open for the year in October.

Enrollment Deadlines:

December 10, 2023: ALL Shooting Sports members who want to participate in mail-in tournaments and State Contest

January 10, 2024: ALL Horse Project members who want to participate in Horse Pre-Fair & Fair — ALL Dog Project members who want to participate in Dog Pre-Fair & Fair — ALL Re-enrolling members who want to participate in County Fair

April 1, 2024: NEW members to Clackamas County 4-H who want to participate in County Fair

Enrollments and project additions are accepted all year. However, additions received after these deadlines will NOT be fair eligible.

Enrollment Fees: $45 per member if received by January 10, 2024, or $50 thereafter. Families with three or more members pay a maximum of $90 ($100 after January 10, 2024). Additional fee for Multnomah County residents - $15 per member, $30 maximum per family. Pay online at https://beav.es/U54 or make checks out to OSU Extension Service.

Adult Leader Enrollment Packet: ALL approved 4-H Adult Volunteers must enroll each year, either online at https://v2.4honline.com or with a paper enrollment packet.
Member Enrollment Packet: 4-H Members who do not wish to enroll online may complete and turn in this paper enrollment packet.
Financial Assistance Application: Form to request help with Clackamas County 4-H fees
Program Dollar Application: Form for 4-H members who have Program Dollars that they want to use. Print out and submit completed form (including all signatures) to the Clackamas County Extension Office, attention CC4-HA Treasurer.
4-H Member Cards: Membership cards can be downloaded, printed, and distributed when members are enrolled.
Annual Youth Safety Training instructions: OSU requires all enrolled 4-H leaders to complete the Youth Safety Training each year. Follow these steps to access the training.

Members Residing Outside Clackamas County: Starting in 2023-24, we need to track all youth members whose primary residence is outside Clackamas County. Oregon State 4-H just updated rules regarding enrollment in counties in which you are not a resident.
