The field trip program engaged 513 third grade students over three weeks. According to post-event evaluations, 80% of teachers or chaperones rated the field trips a 5 out of 5 for their students.

The Military Veterans Farmer Network is a program of Oregon State University Extension Service meant to connect military veterans engaged in or interested in farming.
The Oregon Community Food Systems Network (OCFSN) has been an integral part of building and maintaining the institutional infrastructure essential for the network’s activities and topical working groups.
OSU Extension SNAP-Ed educators who participate in the field trips send the students home with resources related to their lessons so that they can share important health and well-being information with their families.
Farm loops are an excellent means to draw customers to a farm and educate an urban audience that is often three and four generations removed from agriculture.
From fruits to flowers and meat to fiber, this chart will help determine what agriculture products are in season and available directly from farms in the Willamette Valley region.
