Fruit Thinning & Summer Fruit Tree Pruning-Wednesday Session

In these workshops, OSU Master Gardeners will teach you how to properly thin fruit. Thinning out a selection of fruit from your trees while the fruit is still small will result in larger, better tasting and better quality fruit. Thinning prevents boom and bust years - a large crop one year and little or none the next year. Bring clean and sharp hand pruners if you wish.

There are two different sessions of the same workshop being offered. Either Saturday morning, May 25 or Wednesday evening, May 29. Choose one session and pre-registration is required.
