Explore the garden!
Take a self-guided tour through the Multnomah County Master Gardener Association's one-acre educational garden. Visit the various garden beds and talk with Master Gardener volunteers about all things gardening.
Garden Discovery!
View a wide variety of small fruits and vegetables, native and perennial plants. Explore areas dedicated to supporting pollinators. Check out thriving xeriscape and dry farm garden beds. Wander through the Children’s Garden, ramble by the herb bed and scout out other garden beds and features which will inspire your own gardening adventures
Let’s Talk Plants, Gardens and Pollinators!
Stop by the OSU Extension Service Master Gardener™ booth to talk all things plants! Plus, pick-up a package of free seeds to sow some veggies. Several community organizations will also be there including Xerces Society, Backyard Habitat and Multnomah County Vector Control.
Garden fun for all ages!
This family friendly event will have hands-on garden-focused activities for youth. In addition, pick-up free educational materials and directions for interesting garden projects for all ages to do at home.

The garden is located off SE 57th Ave about 500 feet south of SE Duke Street. The pedestrian gate for access to the Demonstration Garden is located across the street from 6637 SE 57th Avenue. Put ‘Green Thumb Community Orchard’ into your GPS or Google Maps for the correct directions. Street parking is on the orchard side (east side) of 57th Ave. Follow the gravel path through the orchard to the garden.
