Tree School Umpqua is back in Douglas County and will be held on Saturday, September 28, at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg. This mini-college features 24 classes on a wide variety of topics of interest to family forestland owners, professionals in forestry and natural resources, loggers, arborists, teachers, and the general public.

This day-long event offers classroom sessions taught by Extension foresters, professional foresters, and other resource management professionals. Classes are 1.5 hours long and you can attend up to four over the course of the day. We have broadened our class selections this year to include basic forestry topics for traditional woodland owners as well as those interested in subjects such as pollinators and forest mushrooms. There is something for everyone! Snacks and a great lunch are included in your registration to keep your energy level high!

Registration opens on August 1st. Register early for the best class selection!

Check out all the class options in the Tree School Umpqua Catalog or visit the Tree School Umpqua webpage for additional information and other Tree School opportunities.
