Agricultural Learning Center Tour & BBQ

Join us for a tour of our agricultural and gardening activities at the Agricultural Learning Center (ALC). We will have BBQ Veggies and Hot Dogs for you. The ALC is a Douglas County/OSU Extension Service farm property that contains the OSU Master Gardener Discovery Garden, Victory Garden, Green Houses, and Garden Composting projects. It also serves as an agricultural research and teaching site for the Livestock and Forages and the Small Farms programs of Oregon State University. Current research includes forage combinations to improve productivity and common forage species for western Oregon pastures. We also have research in the planning phases you will want to hear about. Please join us as we show you our work. The gardens and research fields are at peak performance right now!
