Polk County 4-H

Youth learn best by doing. They gain confidence and leadership skills through hands-on learning. Polk County 4-H staff and volunteers reach hundreds of youth each year, helping youth make the most of a variety of learning experiences. Being a 4-H member or volunteer is an opportunity for you to share and grow in areas that interest you in subjects as varied as outdoor education, food and nutrition, shooting sports, animal science, art, community service and more.

Polk County 4-H is for five to 19-year-olds. We provide a variety of learning opportunities. 4-H Clubs focus on a specific project or interest area. There are also workshops and classes, camps and leadership opportunities!
