Hood River County 4-H
Every summer, the fair allows Hood River County 4-H members to showcase to our community the culmination of the hard work they have put into their projects over the past year. Did you know that some youth have been raising animals since last fall, feeding and caring for them multiple times per day? Did you realize that kids spend months sewing clothing to bring a complete outfit together? Can you believe that some members have spent countless hours learning how to code to create games and projects? Please come and see what they’ve been doing! All hearth projects can be found in the Wy’east Gymnasium, and animal shows will be running from July 24-27 at the Hood River Fairgrounds.

Volunteer with 4-H
Volunteers are key to the success of the 4-H program. Together OSU Extension 4-H and volunteers create life-changing experiences for youth in your community! Young people learn life skills, connect with adults in meaningful ways, make new friends and help their community thrive.
You will gain new skills in working with others and satisfaction from helping children and watching them grow and develop. Volunteering also provides opportunities for personal learning and growth.
