Join us for essential training in animal husbandry, bio-security, quality assurance, and animal ethics!

What is YQCA?

The Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) curriculum is developed by national experts to educate youth and their families. This program is vital for anyone involved in 4-H animal science.

Certification Costs:

  • Online Course: $12
  • In-Person Class: $3

Why Get Certified?

YQCA certification is mandatory for all 4-H animal science exhibitors at the Oregon State Fair in 2024. Starting next year, this requirement will extend to all county fairs in Oregon. Since the curriculum is updated annually, members must re-certify each year.
