Shiitake mushrooms have been claimed to be the world’s healthiest food and are the second most harvested mushroom worldwide. In this workshop, you will not only learn about the ecology of these mushrooms but also how to grow these tasty edibles in your own woodland! This class will teach you how to inoculate a log with mushroom spores for at-home production and cultivation.
